How people live, what they eat, who they are. Sometimes the best way to tell any story is to sit down with someone and share a meal. To break bread and to talk to them. To get their perspective. To learn something about them.

I’m not a journalist. I’m not a foreign correspondent. Instead, I’m an essayist. I’m an enthusiast. I’m a traveler. I’m a writer. I’m a storyteller.

Who’s traveling and writing?

Life in Parts is written by me, Marat Oyvetsky, a professional writer, traveler and word illustrator. I stumbled into this quite by accident, propelled by a restless curiosity and an insatiable hunger for new experiences and extraordinary adventures. Each new encounter, each tantalizing dish, each breathtaking vista became a part of my story and I reveled in the opportunity to bring these moments to life through the art of storytelling.
